Emily had her birthday party today at Pump It Up. She had a great time and enjoyed spending time with all her friends. All three kids were ready for bed tonight at 6:30. Anna had a sleepover last night at a friend's house and was up until midnight. Emily was up mighty early this morning and Jake can always use more sleep. It seems weird that it is quiet in the house already and it is just a few minutes past seven.
When we got to Pump It Up today I was introduced to our "leader" for the day that would take us around from room to room and help us with cake and presents. Her name was Spencer. About ten minutes into the party she said, "Are you Mrs. Hamling?" I said, "What do you mean?" She said, " I think you taught me in third grade." Can you believe it? What are the odds of that? I completely remember her. She was such a sweet and smart little eight year old when I had her in school. It really made me realize how fast my own kids are going to grow up. It was cute listening to her tell Anna about the gift she made for Anna when she was born.
Sadly, before I know it Emily will be old enough to work at Pump it Up!!! My babies are growing too fast. Happy 6th Birthday, Emily. We LOVE you OODLES!!!
All ready for the party to start!
