Winter Concert...and CAST OFF... FINALLY!!!

Anna had her winter concert a few nights back. She did a great job and my friends who got front row seats took some great pictures. Mine weren't quite as good. Thanks Tara and Scott for capturing some great photos.
Anna read a poem at the concert.. Here it is:

Hello/Goodbye

Hello to snow. Goodbye to grass

Hello to cold. Goodbye to sun.

Hello to long sleeves. Good bye to short sleeves.

Hello to hot chocolate. Good bye to lemonade.

Hello to boots and goodbye to flip-flops.

She also got her cast off yesterday. She is in a brace for another month. The arm isn't healing as fast as it should so she still needs to be careful. At least we can wash it now. It was getting a little stinky.

Anna has this process down, but look at Emily in the background. I don't know what she was scared about. Anna is always really nervous after it comes off and is afraid to move it. The pain of what it felt like eight weeks ago is in her memory. She doesn't want to do that again. HA!!

Here is how Jake and Emily get through all the appointments. Jake watches Dora on my Ipod and Emily listens to music on Anna's High School Muscal ipod. What would I do without technology?
