Jake and Emily's preschool programs

Emily and Jake each had their preschool programs this week. Jake was very timid and shy, not to my surprise but was very excited to do Jingle Bells. He just stared at everyone as all the other songs were song but when it was time to sing Jingle Bells, he announced very loud that he was going to "do" this song. He shook his bells really well and his favorite part of the song was screaming HEY at the end. Too cute. He did NOT enjoy the red dot on his nose at all and made me remove it immediately after the program.

Emily did a great job at her program. She is definitely ready for Kindergarten. I had a really hard time seeing her because of course the tallest girl in the class stood directly in front of her. Doesn't that seem to always happen? Thanks again to the Bettis Family for taking pictures and to Wendy for taking video for me. Jake was sick at her program and slept on my lap most the time, so it was hard to move around to capture those precious moments. She LOVES watching herself on video.

We are celebrated Christmas this weekend with just the five of us and I will leave Monday to go to Council Bluffs to spend some time with family. Scott will join us on Wednesday. The kids are off school for two weeks. It will be so nice to not have a schedule. We wish you all safe travels this next week.

He wasn't too fond of the red dot...I thought it was cute.
He LOVED Jingle Bells.

Aren't they too cute.

Encourage children to explore and express their creativeness to help strengthen a child’s positive self-image.
