Emmy's first sleepover and a weekend of fun with friends.

Emily had her first sleepover this weekend at her best friend Maggie's house. Maggie turned 5 and had two friends spend the night. Emily was SOOO excited. She had been asking me for weeks when her sleepover was. We counted down the days for 10 days. Then... forty minutes before she was scheduled to arrive, I finally had heard enough... "is it time yet"... so I set a timer and I swear she watched it for forty minutes count backwards. When it went off she ran to the door and grabbed her suitcase. It was too cute. She had a great time. She needed a nap the next day though. HA!!! I had to wake her from her nap after three and a half hours so that she would be able to go to sleep that night.

We stayed in town this weekend for the big birthday party and because I had a meeting at church in preparation for VBS this week. I have to be at church tomorrow morning at 7:30 to set up. It should be a GREAT week of fun at Hope with 1500 kids. AHHH!!! Since we were in town we had LOTS of playdates with neighbors. We had such gorgeous weather this weekend. Scott and his buddies got to play a round of golf and I enjoyed being outside watching the kids enjoy the weather. We had lots of dress up parties this weekend. Enjoy the photos...

All ready for the big sleepover.

Maggie, the birthday girl, Emily and Madeline.

Playing dress up with friends is SOOO fun.

Another day of dress up. They did a fashion show outside. Too cute!!!
