A weekend at the lake and two toothless girls....

We had a GREAT weekend at the lake. The weather on Friday was fantastic but Saturday and Sunday were a little windy yet still fun. We took the kids to Arnold's Park which is a small amusement park and they had a GREAT time. We bought a season pass. We went two times this weekend and plan to go as many times as possible this summer. I went on the log ride with the kids which was very WET but also very fun. It has a HUGE hill at the end and the kids loved it. I won't ever wear a white shirt to the log ride again... smiles..
The kids also enjoyed jumping into the water for the first time this summer. Mommy stayed in the boat and daddy was brave enough to be the catcher. Thanks Scott for taking one for the team. I thought the water was a bit cold. I enjoyed being the picture taker!!
Anna also lost ANOTHER tooth this weekend. She now looks just like Emily. It is funny to listen to her talk. Her speech has changed quite a bit without the teeth. She has no other loose teeth so it should be a long time before I have to pull another tooth. I am definitely the "tooth-puller" in the family. Scott, the surgeon, who sees blood all day long can't stand looking at Anna when her tooth is loose. I have to pull them. HA!!!

We have a nice relaxing week planned. The swim meet last weekend was cancelled because of tornados in the area. It looks to be much better weather this week.. I'll post more this week. Hopefully Emily will do the meet this time. Happy viewing....
Three kids ready for the boat ride.

He loved jumping into the water.
Anna loved practicing her diving skills off the boat.
The wind was so bad that the boat drifted fast and the two little ones had to be "towed" back to the boat by daddy. They thought that was really funny. Daddy was tired.

The kids LOVE going on the fish at Arnold's Park.

They love to go on the train!!
"Baby" roller coaster. Anna and I tried the big roller coaster but it was a little too fast for the both of us. We decided we would not go on it again this year. My neck was really sore the next day.

The log ride was SOOO fun. Daddy doesn't like heights so I was the lucky one.
I actually had a great time.

TOO CUTE!!!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth....

I wish we could have been in Okoboji at the same time! We were there the weekend of June 18. Charlie and her cousins got to go to Arnold's Park too. Deacon loves the train and the boats. Have fun this summer!

It's Been a Long Time... BIG UPDATE...

Anna moved into a new dorm room at the start of this semester with a friend she met from IL and it has been a wonderful transition for Anna....
