We spent today at Duaine and Inge's house. The kids were DYING to open their presents so we did that before lunch and they enjoyed playing with their toys and watching their new movies this afternoon. We had a yummy dinner and now they are home tucked into bed and anticipating what Santa will bring them. I remember these nights as a child. I would lay in bed trying to go to sleep but was so excited for the next morning that I couldn't get my mind to shut off. Emily said the sweetest thing today, "You know, it isn't the gifts we get at Christmas that are important. It is the gifts that we give!!!" She is definitely my kid that is FULL of heart. Although, I do have to say, she VERY much enjoyed all her presents!!!

Anna got a keyboard and was SOOO excited. She picked up playing Old McDonald REALLY fast and enjoyed teaching her sister how to play too.
Daddy got out his old guitars. Jake was in HEAVEN!!!
Emily enjoyed it too.
I think we have a band starting!
Getting ready to throw the reindeer food!!! We certainly got a white Christmas this year.
