We spent the day today at the Iowa Hawkeye game. It was Scott and my first game in eight years and the kids first game ever. We definitely were spoiled by my parents AWESOME seats. My parents came through Des Moines yesterday for lunch and my dad mentioned that they had 5 extra seats to the game today if we wanted to come. We had NOTHING planned for today. It was the only weekend in two months that Anna did not have a soccer game. Scott was on call but found someone to cover for him so we could take advantage of this great opportunity. We literally were spoiled rotten and I hope the kids don't think this is how all the games the rest of their lives will be. Smiles... We pulled up to front row parking thirty minutes before the game. We took the elevator up to the indoor seating area. It was warm, had awesome food and the kids were able to color and play with toys while they watched the game on the 50 yard line. You wouldn't believe how much they ate. I'm not sure they will even want dinner tonight. It was a great family day. Thanks Mom and Dad for a day the kids will never forget. Can we come next week? HA!!!! Just kidding.
