Learning from Daddy and Grandpa...

This weekend Duaine and Inge came up to see the kids and help Scott do some wiring in the basement. Jake was so interested and even though he got in the way a few times, he definitely is taking in his dad's footsteps and wants to learn anything and everything he can about "boy stuff." It's funny to watch because the girls would walk by them working and say nothing and not even notice and Jake had to be right in there inspecting everything. Thanks so much to Duaine for helping Scott give me power on a wall that I am now able to plug my hutch into. It's so much prettier when you can light it up. What were they thinking when they didn't put outlets on that wall when they built our house? DUH!!!

I had a tough weekend fighting the stomach flu. I haven't been that sick in a very long time. I went three days without eating and I didn't even crave me favorite thing in the world, pop. This morning I had a normal breakfast with a huge glass of pop and feel much better today.
My mom comes to visit tomorrow. She has been in AZ since Christmas so it will be great to spend some time with her. Only 5 more weeks and we'll be visiting my mom and dad in AZ. YAH!!! I can't wait.
