It seems like forever since I last posted. Things have been pretty low key around our house. It is great to have the kids back in school and back into a normal routine. Anna started basketball tonight for the first time and did such a great job. She has her first game in a few weeks so I'll post pictures soon. She left practice with a HUGE smile on her face. As a parent, you can't feel better than when you know your kids are happy.
Scott took the afternoon off today so we were able to spend some quality time as a family today which was so nice. He was on call this last weekend and was REALLY busy so it was nice to spend some time with him. Jake LOVES having daddy home because he loves playing Lego's with daddy. I try to play Legos but he doesn't think I'm quite as cool as daddy. I also have a very hard time putting the "Lego figures" back together after they have fallen apart. Anna is even better than me. HA!!
I promise to post more often in the coming months. Off to bed....
