Jake's Open House and Update on Anna

Jake had his Open House tonight at preschool. He was able to wear his costume and at first didn't want to wear it, but after a seeing all his preschool friends wearing their outfits, he decided to put it on for a few minutes. He LOVES preschool, and his teacher is fabulous.

Anna is hanging in there. She had a meltdown tonight at bedtime and cried and said she didn't ever want to do this again. I feel so sorry for her. Her freedom is gone. We have to help her do most things, which is frustrating for a six year old. I think one of the things that bugs her most is the itching. She tries to itch through the cast, but obviously it doesn't help. She'll get to take this cast off on Wednesday afternoon and itch away before they put the new cast on. She is scheduled to see a pediatric endocrinologist on Friday afternoon. Not sure what we are in for at that appointment, but I'll keep you posted.

Enjoy the pictures of Jake. The last picture is a picture of his favorite thing to play with at school. A VACUUM!!! He takes after his mother...HA!!!
