Last week Anna called on her way home from swim practice and begged me to let her go watch the Dual Swim Meet between Valley and Dowling. I agreed to take her as long as she had her homework done and was packed up and ready for school the next day. She has to get everything in her car the night before since she leaves for practice at 5am. I actually think I know more kids on the Dowling and Valley swim teams than I do on the Waukee swim team. It was super fun to watch her Y friends and her USA friends compete. Anna did mention that she was REALLY hot sitting in the stands watching the meet. Now she knows what we deal with on a weekly basis!

Stephanie, Saige, Anna and Sophie. These girls swam together for the YMCA since they were seven and have all recently moved on to different winter swim teams but still enjoy seeing each other at meets.
