Since the day we put the house on the market I have been dreaming of a red sold sign on the sign in the yard. We feel so blessed that it sold just in time for our "close" date on the new house. Moving into the new house will be so much more relaxing knowing I don't have to keep the house clean every minute and the anxiety of possibly owning two homes is gone!! The new owners take possession at the end of January which is nice because it gives us time to get all our "stuff" out of the old hose. We are all very excited about the move to the new house but I know we will miss many things about this house. The kids have mentioned on several occasions that they are going to be sad to leave "their" house. Change is never easy but I know we will be making MANY wonderful memories in the new house. I have promised the kids that the first thing we will do at the new house this weekend is decorate for Xmas.
