Anna had her fourth grade concert tonight. She did a GREAT job. They sang quite a few songs and also demonstrated all they have learned about recorders this year. The students were presented with the "recorder karate" challenge earlier this year. Students had the chance to move up levels on the recorder if they learned to play certain songs correctly. To earn their "white belt" they had to learn to play Hot Cross Buns. Anna practiced a ton at home and worked her way up to black belt. She was one of just a few kids in the entire fourth grade that made it to black belt. It was fun to watch her perform tonight. We may have a little musician on our hands!!!
