The kids had their last swim lesson yesterday and their first swim meet of the summer season. They did GREAT. I didn't know what to expect since they are all at the bottom of their age groups this year but I was shocked at how great they did. Anna had to move from doing 25's to 50's which she wasn't too excited about, but she was AWESOME!!! She was very proud of herself!! Emily has improved TONS since this time last year and loved showing off her swimming skills to Grandma Patti who came to watch them swim. This meet was Jakes first experince doing a "meet" and he did great as well. He got right up on the blocks, "dove" (AKA... jump) right into the water and swam his 10 meters. He was SOO excited and came home with two ribbons. Molly once again spent the day in the shade!! Poor kid is living at the pool this summer. I'm glad our pool has lots of trees!!!
