Anna had her poetry party at school the other day. I wasn't able to go because we had just gotten home from the hospital, but Grandma and Daddy went to watch her. She did a GREAT job and wrote some very creative poems.
PRESCHOOL GRADUATION FOR JAKE...
Jake "graduated" from preschool tonight. It was too cute and a little emotional for the 9 month pregnant mom. The director talked a lot about how fast these kids grow up and to cherish every little minute. It really hit home with me. I can't believe that he is already ready for Kindergarten! Jake and I have been "stay at home buddies" for two years while the girls have been at school and I am REALLY going to miss hanging out with him next year. I know I'll have a baby but there is something about eating lunch with him and listening to him talk about all his Star Wars and Lego guys that I am going to miss. Honestly, most the time I have no idea what he is even talking about. Star Wars and Legos are more a passion he shares with his dad, but listening to him go on and on about his favorite things will be missed next year. I still have three months of bonding to do with him before he leaves me for way too many hours each day, so I'm promising myself to cherish each moment. He really has grown into such a sweet little boy who is IN LOVE with my growing belly. I think he will be VERY sad when this baby comes out and my stomach is no longer a cuddling toy for him.
We love you OODLES Jake and are so proud of you for "graduating" tonight.
This is his "I am nervous" smile!!
We love you Jake!!!
Siblings bonding!!
