We had such a great weekend in Minneapolis. We got there at a decent time on Friday so that we could have some "fun" before the swimming began. We met the Rounds family at Mall of America Friday night and did the "amusement park" and dinner at Rain Forest Cafe. Saturday morning we played at the hotel water park and then we spent the afternoon at the "competitive" pool where Anna did AWESOME. Her relay took third in the Region and she had all her best times in her events for the day so she was all smiles. This was her first experience managing herself at a swim meet since moms and dads had no access to them once they entered the swimming area. It was a great experience and she did a great job "managing" herself for the five hours we were at the VERY HOT pool. Saturday night we met the Rounds family for dinner and went back to the water park for some fun. Sunday she swam one race and then we were off to hit the outlets while Scott explored Cabelas. We had a GREAT weekend!!

Love that Anna is going so well at swimming. You must be having so much fun watching her. Are you secretly pining to get back in the pool yourself?
