We had a GREAT Easter weekend. Scott was away which was sad, but we spent it with great friends so we felt blessed!! Since my due date is fast approaching, this was the only weekend that Scott could get to the lakes to help get the cabin ready for the summer. He is on call this coming weekend and after that I won't feel comforatble having him four hours away from me!! So... thank goodness for AWESOME friends and neighbors. We spent Saturday at the Carlsons decorating Easter Eggs, then went to a FABULOUS church service at Hope and then off we went to the movie theater to see Rio. It was a fun day!! Sunday morning the kids were up bright and early hunting for eggs from the Easter Bunny and then we had brunch with the Kring and Carlson families. Brunch is my FAVORITE thing... so my belly was VERY happy!! It was a gorgeous day here in Des Moines so we spent the entire afternoon and evening playing outside!! Overall, we certianly missed having Scott around but I'm glad he was able to help his parents get things ready at the lake. One less thing to worry about before this baby comes... I'm certainly ready... she can come any time in my mind!! I'm running out of room!!! And... we can't wait to meet her!!!
