It's been a busy week.... and it's only Tuesday night....

We have had a VERY busy week. The girls have had dance recital practice in Ames the last two nights. Jake saw the auditorium tonight in the parking lot and said, "I want to go home." Needless to say, he wasn't the best for Emily's practice. He's sick of dance, I think. But... the girls LOVE it and did so well. The recital is this weekend. Jake is going to have a babysitter, so it will be much more enjoyable at the actual performance. Emily also had her preschool end of the year program today. She did a great job. I have included a picture of her with her four best buddies from school. I also added a picture of Jake at his first dentist appointment last week. He was surprisingly good and thought it was fun to sit in the big chair. The week settles down from here on out, until the recital Saturday, so we are looking forward to playing outside and getting back into our normal routine. We'll be in touch with more updates soon. I'm off to bed. Travelling 45 minutes each way to Ames two days in a row has exhausted me.
