Anna's "early" birthday, Emily's new bike, and Jake's big boy tux...

We had a great weekend. The weather was very windy, but nice. We were outside most of the day yesterday. We all slept well last night. Today our Hamling grandparents came up to celebrate Anna's 6th birthday a little early, since we'll be in South Carolina for a wedding for her true birthday. She got lots of great gifts. We also bought Emily a new bike this weekend, which she LOVES. Tonight we tried on Jake's tux for the wedding. He's tried it on in the past in Arizona when my mom was altering it, and screamed each time he saw it. Tonight he actually didn't cry, which is great considering the wedding is in three weeks. He kept pointing to the bow tie and saying, "I wearing a headband." Can you tell he has two older sisters?
Anna also had her first soccer game of the season this weekend. She scored three goals and we are so proud of her. She really LOVES sports. I didn't get any pictures because it was too windy and cold to do anything but cuddle with Emily and Jake under a blanket... but promise to get out picture next weekend.
Until next time....Enjoy the pictures....
