The "big" kids as I call them started school today. They were SUPER excited to start and I was super excited that they were super excited... HA!!! This will be our last year at Maple Grove so it was bittersweet thinking that this time next year we will be somewhere else attending school. Change is never easy and boundary changes have not treated my kids well the last few years.
Anna started 5th grade. BOY how time flies. She has grown so much the past six years and I can't believe that she will be in middle school at this time next year.
Jake started 1st Grade today and is most excited that his doctor has given him the "ok" to sit with the "regular" kids for cold lunch. He REALLY disliked lunch last year and cried a lot over the fact that he has to sit just with peanut allergy kids. He is growing up so fast!!!
Emily started third grade and was most excited about getting an assignment notebook. She has many great friends in her class this year and is my child that LOVES SCHOOL!!! She has been excited for weeks about getting back to school.
Poor Miss Molly is REALLY going to miss these three and I am going to miss them entertaining her for me!!!
