Anna's Birthday Party

Anna had her seventh birthday party yesterday at The Hilton Garden Inn. We had friends come and swim. It was really fun. All the "big kids" (the first graders) could touch. Jake and Emily couldn't so we put them in their life jackets. They had fun swimming in the big pool with the kids and near the end of the party Jake was cold and asked to take his jacket off, so we let him and wrapped him in a towel. A few minutes later I was talking to a friend and out of the corner of my eye I saw Jake chasing one of Anna's friends, who to get away from Jake, jumped in the deep end. Well.. guess where Jake went? You guessed it, into the deep end. It took me about two seconds to get to him fully clothed and in the water. It was quite a way to end the party. The parents came to pick up their kids to me soaking wet in my clothing. Looking back, I wish I had taken a picture. It was quite a sight!!!! Jake is fine and it really didn't phase him at all. He did mention this morning that he almost died yesterday. Thank GOD I was watching him!!!! Enjoy the pictures of Anna's big day.
